I am a resident fellow of the Tilburg Center for Logic and Philosophy of Science, at Tilburg University, where I am working on the NWO project Towards Logics that Model Natural Reasoning. I am also a part of the Dynamic and Dialogical Approaches to Historical Logic (DDAHL) network.
My current research is in the realm of interactive logic; on the historical side, I am interested in medieval theories of obligationes, while on the contemporary side I do work in dialogical logic, formal dialogue systems, and abstract argumentation frameworks.
Research interests: Medieval modal, temporal, and tense logic; Medieval theories of obligationes; Abstract dialogue and argumentation systems; Medieval European onomastics; The influence of theology on the development of medieval logic; Computational social choice; Medieval economic and trade history.
